On the evening of December 5, Novotel Nha Trang held a Christmas tree lighting ceremony for 2025 with the theme "Greener Christmas".
The highlight of this year’s event is the Christmas tree made entirely from bamboo – a sustainable material, combined with environmentally friendly decorations. This is not only a symbol of the festive season but also demonstrates the hotel’s commitment to green tourism development.
The choir sang Christmas carols.
During the program, children from Talent Kids Center for Arts and Talent Training, Khanh Hoa Center for Rehabilitation and Education for Disabled Children and Little Star Kindergarten performed many cheerful songs to welcome the peaceful Christmas season. In particular, disabled children also directly sold cakes at the booth after completing the cooking course instructed by Novotel Nha Trang chefs.
Santa Claus gives gifts to children
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong - General Manager of Novotel Nha Trang Hotel shared: "The Christmas tree lighting ceremony is not only a ceremony, but also an opportunity for us to share with less fortunate children. Through 16 times of organization, the hotel has collected nearly 600 million VND. All donations have been sent to the Khanh Hoa Province Center for Rehabilitation and Education of Disabled Children and the Blue Dragon organization to support children in special circumstances, helping them avoid human trafficking".
International tourists buy gifts to support charity.
Novotel Nha Trang is a hotel that is very active in organizing activities for the community and the environment. In August 2025, Novotel Nha Trang received the Green Key certificate - a prestigious international certificate for hotels that implement environmental protection and sustainable development standards. Before the Christmas tree lighting program, in 2025, Novotel Nha Trang also organized the Dragon Walk For Change Walking Festival; Hair Donation Festival to support cancer patients who lost their hair due to chemotherapy. Notably, this year the hotel also planted more than 1,000 mangrove trees in Dam Bay area, Nha Trang Bay, contributing to protecting the marine ecosystem.
